‘Pathway of Hope’ springs up in Southwater

Painted rocks have long been a staple of Summer in Southwater. In years gone by, the decorated rocks have been sneakily placed around the Country Park, hiding from the village children enjoying the sun on a Scavenger Hunt.

This year, the rocks have taken on a new meaning, as part of the #southwaterrocks movement. The anonymous organisers have set out to display a chain of the painted rocks along the Downs Link, between Lintot Square and the Country Park lake. The rocks are adorned with messages of hope and thanks, as the village continues to pull together (at a distance!) to beat the Corona Virus.
