Small Business Network

Our village is home to a diverse, thriving range of businesses, covering an array of different industries and services. From mortgages to websites, recruitment to first aid, Southwater is open for business!

The Southwater Small Business Networking group meets once a month, and is a great opportunity for local, independent businesses to meet like-minded individuals in a social setting. Rather than a ‘selling group’, it is instead more of a support group with a mutual sharing of contacts, advice and motivation.

All attendees are given an opportunity to introduce themselves and their business, before a talk is given by one of the members on an interesting topic. At the March meeting, we were shown the correct way to wash our hands, couresy of Jenny from Training Legs First Aid.

The group was established over four years ago by Paul Davies and Tracy Sambrook as a way to support local businesses. They meet on the first Thursday of the month at 18:00 upstairs at The Lintot, and often are treated to free pizza or nachos.

If you are interested in coming along, please contact Paul Davies (p.davies@aboutmortgages.co.uk) or Tracy Sambrook from Utilities Warehouse.
