Southwater Welcome Club starting ‘Computer Advice’ Sessions

The Welcome Club are very pleased to announce the start of our ‘Computer Advice’ sessions, which will take place during our normal Club meetings, commencing on March 30th, with ‘Getting on Line’.

We are extremely grateful recipients of the Coop Local Community Fund, which enables us to finance a tutor, David Holyhead, for help and support using your own devices (at the moment).

For example, setting up emails, social media, online banking and online shopping etc. We expect this project to grow and grow for our seniors with a new topic each session to provide an understanding of technology, and how to use it in our changing world. Please join us at Southwater Village Hall from 2.30pm - 3.30pm every other Wednesday for the Computer session where you can join in with the Welcome Club activities afterwards and stay for tea and cake too!

From 2:30pm - 4:30pm the Welcome Club will run as usual, and we are always welcoming new members so please feel free to come along. The cost is £2 per person and all details are published in the Parish Magazine and on Southwater Community Facebook page. Alternatively, call Deborah on 731891 or Kris on 731553 for more information.
