As we move into a new year and another lockdown, here is a list of resources to help support residents over the coming weeks:

Southwater Community Hub – 07795 835905

Local volunteers in Southwater can assist with food/essential shopping, prescription collection and supportive friendly phone calls.

If you are struggling to afford adequate food please call to speak to Horsham Matters, who will be able to issue you with a food bank voucher if necessary.

  • Take Home & Settle, Relative Support, and Help at Home – paid for service.

  • Befriending - currently only phone calls

Winter Warmer Campaign:

Freshly made (frozen) meals with options for all dietary needs. May be particularly helpful for those struggling financially, or who have barriers to cooking. A choice of two meals delivered or a whole week’s worth and delivered by volunteers direct to your door. Call 01903 731800 and select option 3.  Suggested donation of £2 per meal or free to all who need it. 

NHS Covid 19 Responders - 0808 196 3646 (8am to 8pm seven days a week)

Volunteers provide vital support to people vulnerable to COVID-19, or any other reason support is needed during the pandemic.
