You find us between events in this issue - the deadline means we can’t give you a report on the Rose and Sweet Pea Show and the Summer Show is still two months away!

However, we know that those of you who are keen crafters would welcome a preview of the section of the Spring Show Schedule for 2023 to give you maximum time to prepare. Here it is:

  • Hand knitting: a prem. baby blanket size 24”x 20” Any pattern may be used for the blanket but not lacy or with holes which tiny fingers could get caught in. Wool supplied by the Society***

  • Any item of hand knitting – apart from mittens (see 70)

  • A piece of embroidery, back of work to be examined*

  • Any cross-stitch item

  • Any crochet article

  • Any item(s) using needlework, machine or hand-made

  • A Worry Monster, pattern supplied ****

  • A knitted pair of mittens

  • Any other craft not having a class in this division - soft medium**

  • Easter card, any medium. Original design with greeting included

  • Any picture, not photograph or needlecraft, may be framed

  • Any item of patchwork

• All exhibits must be unused and not previously shown

• Unless otherwise stated, bought kits may be used but this must be noted on the exhibit

• * If made from a chart, this should be noted on the entry form

• ** Craft to be stated on the entry form

• *** Baby blankets to be donated to the Prem. Baby Ward at Worthing Hospital

• **** To be donated to Schools and Children’ Hospitals if the exhibitor is agreeable

• Space Allowed: 600cm

• Depth of table approx 68cm
